Are you obligated to invite vendors (dj, photographer, whoever is marrying you, etc.) to your New Jersey wedding and/or reception? I would suggest that you do not want to feel obligated to do anything that feels uncomfortable to you. Inviting them is fine. It is usually expected with a minister. If the photographer, florist, etc. are not working at the reception, it is not expected that you invite them. However, it is standard practice to serve them whatever food you are providing. As to how to invite them, you can verbally ask your minister or send him or her an invitation. With the other people working for you, just as with any guest, I would send an invitation if they aren't working your reception. Another option: you can invite them to attend the cocktail hour after the ceremony.
